On our trip to and from Ethiopia we did a stop over in Frankfurt, with side trips to Heidelberg and Rheingan to visit Kloster Eberbach built in the 13th century - and once the home to a thousand wine-making monks. We had the good fortune of picking the Villa Orchard Bed and Breakfast whose owners, Joan and Chris Weber not only were great hosts, but picked us and dropped us off at the airport, gave us advice about where to visit in the time we had and took us to the train station. The first night we ate at a German restaurant they recommended, only to find they wouldn't accept dollars or our credit card. Joan came and rescued us with Euros.
